Brookfield Missouri was founded in 1859 and has seen population growth and decline as industries have come and gone. According to the 2010 census the current population is 4,542. Brookfield is unique in that it has everything you need without the excess and congestion that comes with urban living. If you can't find it in Brookfield, Columbia Missouri is about an hour and a half drive and Kansas City is within two hours.
